The Story of ONE … Reaching MANY!
With your support, Help The Persecuted unleashes the power of one!
After his conversion to Christianity, Bashir’s family tried to kill him! So, he ran. But his new faith could not be stifled. You helped Bashir start over … now, he’s reaching many with the Gospel!

With Help The Persecuted’s assistance, Bashir purchased a taxi. He gained income … plus an incredible platform to share the Gospel with his passengers.
The Coronavirus crisis stopped the taxi driving for now … but Bashir is still using his taxi for good … and to spread the Good News! He distributes food and aid to those in need.
Bashir’s story highlights the powerful “story of one.” From their own place in God’s story, Rescued, Restored, and Rebuilt Christians can open doors in their own communities — sharing the Gospel and making disciples of their neighbors.
This unleashes the redemptive work of God into unreached communities — affecting one person, and the next, and the next — until all have heard the Good News.
“It is through Help The Persecuted that persecuted Christians are finding a foothold in their circumstances. Many are beaten, tortured, and cast out of their homes.
Through the funds Help The Persecuted gives, God provides a way for men and women to Rescue, Restore, and Rebuild lives that bring glory to His name.”
—Samar, Field Ministry Team leader
YOUR IMPACT
In less than two years as a standalone ministry, Help The Persecuted has experienced incredible growth — nearly doubling in size and impact year over year. With the strong support of caring friends like you, we have expanded our reach into new countries, added many new Field Ministry Team staff members, and invested in Rescuing, Restoring, and Rebuilding thousands of lives.
Since 2011, Help The Persecuted has worked to Rescue, Restore, and Rebuild the lives of more than 35,000 persecuted Christians.
Iraq Ministry Center
A Beacon of HOPE … a Model for Future Outreach!
Our brand-new Ministry Center in Qaraqosh, Iraq, stands as a beacon of hope — amidst a Christian town that was devastated by ISIS and is struggling to rebuild. We designed this Center to specifically meet the needs of persecuted Christians returning to their homes. Today, our staff deliver the hope of the Gospel along with …
- A preschool with an experienced director and six teachers. Our first class serves over 60 children, and we hope to double that number by the end of 2020.
- English as a Second Language and computer training courses.
- A food pantry to tackle the massive food insecurity needs for thousands.
- Counseling to bring healing to those struggling with the effects of persecution and war.
- Services for the physically disabled.
A few months ago, one of our partners who helped fund the Center traveled to Qaraqosh …
“It’s beyond my wildest dreams that I would ever set foot here and see the work that you’ve done. Help The Persecuted has taken a building that was destroyed — in an area where there was no hope — and it is now this beautiful beacon of light, happiness, and hope in a place that has experienced such pain.”

God opened the doors for us in Syria in 2019. We hired two Field Ministry Team members and plan to add a third in 2020 in Damascus. We are praying about how God might lead us to develop a Syrian version of our Qaraqosh Ministry Center there amongst the many broken, heavily-persecuted communities.
Please prayerfully consider what you can give today! It will be DOUBLED in impact … to catapult our work forward in the days and weeks to come.
