Your generosity is reaching Muneer … and keeping him alive.

His story is heartbreaking and difficult — and yet, it speaks to the power of Christ working through him…

  • Muneer’s faith, so new and yet, so strong.
  • Our relentless efforts to Rescue, Restore, and Rebuild persecuted people.
  • Your incredible, life-giving impact, as you stand with Help The Persecuted.

Here’s his story …

Muneer, his wife, and their children lived in a strict Hezbollah-controlled area in Lebanon when he was introduced to Christianity. After a few visits to church, Muneer was convinced of the sovereignty of Jesus! He walked away from his Muslim faith and upbringing to follow Christ.

His in-laws were furious and they forbade him from attending services. But Muneer didn’t want to stop going to church. So, he snuck around until he was discovered — and then their anger turned to abuse

Muneer was beaten severely — and cast out. His wife was forced to divorce him and denounce her children, now considered infidels for their father’s faith.

The beating left him crippled and unable to do his work as a blacksmith. With no job, no family support, and no ability to pay his bills, Muneer’s children were removed from his home and placed in an orphanage.

Muneer

Thankfully, together we have been there for Muneer — providing emergency funds and crucially needed emotional support as he worked to regain custody of his children.

He’s lost everything for the sake of Christ, yet he remains resolute in his faith. Field Ministry Team members tell me that he encourages them with his steadfastness, and his devotion to Jesus.

Thank you for being a dynamic part of our efforts to Rescue Muneer, Restore his encouragement — deepening his relationship with Christ — and help Rebuild his family by bringing his children home.

Your prayers and financial support drive all that we do to impact lives and share hope in dark, dangerous places across the Middle East and North Africa.

It is a joy and privilege to partner with you!
